The legacy of #serbisYU from the H.E.A.R.T. continues – towards a golden era of inclusive development.
Local officials of Zamboanga del Sur formally took oath on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Pavilion Hall, Provincial Government Center, Dao, Pagadian City.
The mass oath taking ceremony was administered by Governor Victor J. Yu and witnessed by Deputy Speaker and 1st District Representative Divina Grace Yu, daughter 2nd District Representative Victoria Yu and Vice Govoernor Roseller Ariosa.
Provincial board members, municipal mayors, vice mayors and councilors attended the momentous occasion along with their families.
Cong. Victoria Yu led the victory toast for all the officials before they were sworn in as respective elected officials in their municipalities.
In his message, Gov. Yu emphasized his intentions for his second term which centers primarily on five sectors of development – health, education, agriculture, roads and infrastructure, tourism and environment.
The governor believes that the succeeding years of his administration will usher in the golden era of the province. He urged the support of the local government officials to rally behind him in achieving this dream for Zamboanga del Sur.
Cong. Divina Yu backed the governor’s vision and also encouraged the local leaders to press on with the long-term goal of improving the quality of life for the Zambosurians.
